WestconGroup Southern Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Smith in the role of regional manager for its KwaZulu-Natal region.
Working with the company’s executive team, Smith will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the KwaZulu-Natal offices, headquartered in Durban, as well as play a key role in driving awareness of the WestconGroup brand, its vendor portfolio as well as strengthen and grow its reseller base in the region.
No stranger to management, Smith joins WestconGroup from a tenure at iSolve Learning Solutions where she worked in the capacity of regional sales manager: KZN, prior to which she held the role of regional sales manager: Johannesburg and Pretoria at Torque IT (part of The Kelly Group).
Notably she has successfully managed multiple sales organisations in the past and brings to her role as regional manager, solid sales and management, expense and budget management experience. She is considered by her peers as a strong leader with a wealth of experience managing employees, operations, projects, sales, meeting tight deadlines and completing projects within budget.
