First of all, let’s start with the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard of: a wearable computer on a DOG! All I can say is: I read up on this with a raised eyebrow while shaking my head in disbelief. You will of course get consumers who will want to know what Fido’s heart rate is and how many calories he burned a day. I think it’s rather odd, but hey, we probably have to wake up and smell the technology.
Other (not so weird) technology you should consider reselling is the Pebble Watch. With Bluetooth notifications, it will able consumers to get texts, incoming calls and other messages on their wrists. You can also access apps from your watch. I think, however, that this will evolve into something even greater, like a mini-computer with multiple functions on your wrist!
We all know about smart glasses, but have you seen anyone (except for a nerd or two) wearing them? Neither have I. I do see this changing though in the next 5 to 10 years. So this is what the scenario will look like: we are all going to wear computerised eyeglasses, computers on our wrists, and heaven forbid, put computers on our dogs!
